Npower customers woe

Npower has announced that it is to increase both its gas and electricity prices. Npower has around 4 million customers and is the fourth largest energy supplier in the UK. The announcement comes as a result of higher wholesale energy costs such as crude oil hitting a record $100 a barrel earlier this week and this will have an impact on the price of gas.

It is now widely expected that the other UK energy suppliers will follow suit and consumers should brace themselves for price increases.
